How has LED lighting contributed to its usage in healing?

 

The saturated and concentrated light beams of specific wavelengths that LEDs can produce has opened up new arena of healing with LED light. Special LED lighting is used to heal wounds like skin ulcers from diabetes, serious burns and oral sores from radiation and chemotherapy. Certain wavelengths of LEDs also help remove brain tumours. Infrared LEDs promote cell regeneration and helps in healing lacerations.
