Get a ‘clean’ night’s sleep

As the clocks ‘spring’ forward at the end of the month, Architect and Home Renovations Expert, George Clarke explains how you can create routines with your Philips Hue to ensure you get a clean night’s sleep.

Thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow, “Clean Sleeping” is one of the biggest trends of 2017. She recommends at least seven or eight hours of good, quality sleep a night with the ideal being 10. The book, “Goop Clean Beauty” includes such tips as wearing heated socks to bed to regulate the temperature of your feet and sleeping on copper-infused pillowcases.


Light can also help you embrace this latest trend. Gwyneth supposedly tries to time her sleep pattern with the phases of the sun. Whilst this may be slightly impractical for most of us, using Philips Hue allows you to mimic sunrise and sunset, to help you drift off to sleep easily in the evenings and wake gently in the mornings.
